PUMA Mostro Spring 2025

In 2024, PUMA reached deep into its archives to reintroduce one of its cult classics, the PUMA Mostro. Initially introduced in 1999, the PUMA Mostro takes its name from the Italian word for "monster" and borrows from two diverse realms: the streamlined sprinting spikes of the ‘60s and the surfing shoes of the ‘80s to achieve a cutting-edge design for those who feel most comfortable stepping out of the ordinary.

With the sunnier spring and summer seasons upon us, the PUMA Mostro continues to steal the show, combining its signature sculptural design, low-profile shape, and avant-garde, spiked sole with fresh colors and fabrics. As most monsters do, the PUMA Mostro has also evolved with brand-new iterations, including the Mostro Mary Jane Lunch, Mostro Fey PRM, and Mostro Leather, embracing its rebellious spirit while evolving to embrace the moment.

To highlight the PUMA Mostro, we linked up once again with Stockholm-based art director, photographer, video director, and co-founder of IOU.STUDIO, Viktoria Hultman, who effortlessly brought the beast that is the PUMA Mostro to life through elevated visuals, capturing the silhouette in its natural habitat: on foot, ready to hit the streets.
