In 1994, after the Nike Air Max 2 was released, Nike added the Nike Air Max2 Light to their arsenal, a sneaker that was and still is one ounce lighter than the Air Max2. The “squared” Nike Air Max sneaker features Air cushioning below the heel (with Zoom technology below the forefoot, known back then as Tensile Air) the only similarity between the “Max2’s” and the AM2 Light. With the return of the OG colorways, Nike adds also new themes to the series, including this Court Purple Nike Air Max2 Light made with a mix of fabrics, including mesh, leather, and suede.
