MY ADIDAS! This must have been the sound coming out of many rooms back in the 80s, with annoyed parents all over their kids who just want those “new” adidas Superstars. First introduced in the late 60s, the shell-toed low top basketball sneaker Superstar by adidas, after totally taking over the NBA, became THE shoe for everyone slightly connected to Hip Hop culture. Run DMC must have sounded to parents back in the days like mumble rap today does to me, mumble young man mumble. However, the Superstar kept on being a stellar silhouette in the sneaker community and gets treatment after treatment by adidas. This time with a fine black leather upper as well as the *insert famous Italian fashion brand* colored 3-Stripes and white shell-toe and midsole.
