The adidas Campus went through some interesting times after its original release in the 1970s, the most interesting part is, that it wasn’t called Campus, in the beginning, its name was “Tournament”. Later, in 1980 it was then renamed to Campus. First, it was a basketball shoe that transitioned to a B-Boying or skateboarding shoe that always was a bit overshadowed by its bigger brothers the Superstar, Pro Model or Gazelle. Now, in 2017, adidas brings back the subtle silhouette in various colorways.
The Clear Brown Campus model features pigskin nubuck leather on the upper and soft leather lining while multicolored synthetic 3-Stripes and a red heel cap freshen up the subtle look. The tongue comes with a metallic-gold Trefoil logo and the OrthoLite® sockliner givest cushioning and comfort.
