The Puma Clyde is one of the first signature shoes in sneaker history. Back in 1973 Walt "Clyde" Frazier was one of the best basketball players in the world making a name for himself. However, he wasn’t 100% happy with his current basketball sneaker, the Puma Suede, so he asked for a custom-made pair which was lighter and wider. Puma turned the idea into reality and even stamped his moniker on to it, the Puma Clyde was born. This special Puma Clyde Marine edition of the vintage basketball sneaker celebrates the gifts of the sea featuring a wave-illustration on the Puma Formstripe. It sports a deep blue nubuck upper and off-white mid- and rubber outsole.
