The adidas Campus went through some interesting times after its original release in the 1970s, the most interesting part is, that it wasn’t called Campus in the beginning, its name was “Tournament”. Later, in 1980 it was than renamed to Campus. First it was a basketball shoe that transitioned to a B-Boying or skateboarding shoe that always was a bit overshadowed by its bigger brothers the Superstar, Pro Model or Gazelle. Now, in 2017, adidas brings back the subtle silhouette in various colorways.

This time, the adidas Consortium Sneaker Exchange brings together United Arrows & Sons from Japan and Slam Jam from Italy. Both established in 1989 have respectively grown to fame in their markets and now collaborate on this adidas Campus. The all white upper is made from 100% organic cotton as a reference to Japanese IKEUCHI ORGANIC toweling. The lining is made from terry cloth giving it a distressed appearance.
