The adidas YEEZY line has been one of the most successful, if not the most successful, collaborations between a pop cultural artist and a sportswear company. Since 2015 Kanye West and adidas have changed how sneaker culture operates, blending new designs, new technologies, and brand DNA. After a whirlwind of times, news, and an unclear YE x adidas future, the three stripes have announced the sale of all remaining in-stock pairs, which will take place in the second half of 2023, and then the adidas YEEZY chapter will be closed for good.
