The PUMA MB.05 Rick and Morty feels like a perfect match purely because LaMelo already moves like someone operating in a completely different universe anyway.

Instead of toning things down, the collab fully leans into the chaos. The left shoe channels Rick through icy aqua and peppermint tones inspired by his portal energy, while the right side flips into loud oranges and cosmic yellows pulled from Morty’s permanently stressed-out existence. Distressed edges, warped textures and character graphics across the heels make the whole pair feel slightly unhinged in a good way.

Underneath all the multiverse madness, it’s still the MB.05 people genuinely rate on court. Lightweight, responsive and built for quick movement, with the same unpredictable energy Melo brings to his game every night. This feels less like a normal basketball collaboration and more like a sneaker version of a crossover episode.
