Explore our Nike Running Shoes selection and the Nike universe here.
Nike has a long history as a running shoe company, with its founders both involved in the track & field program at the University of Oregon. After leaving the distribution business and focusing on its own brand, Nike began designing running sneakers and birthed its first model, the Waffle Trainer 1974. Later on, in 1987, Nike Running introduced the Nike Air Max line, which is undoubtedly one of the most iconic Sportswear lines in history. With better technology and production, Nike evolved the running sector into a big sub-brand, including models like the Nike Flyknit Trainer, Nike Air Max, Nike Running, Nike Zoom Fly, Zoom Fly Sp, Nike Epic React, or the Air Max 270.
