New Balance 2002R

Initially released in 2010 as a premium running sneaker by New Balance, the 2002R followed the New Balance 2001 as a more streamlined update. With a price point of 250 Dollars, the first 2010-version of the New Balance 2002 didn’t survive long, getting strapped and moved into the archive. After waiting almost 10 years, New Balance (with some help from creative director Tetsuya Shono of New Balance Japan) brought back the 2002, this time with an R suffix, lower price point, updated new sole taken from the 860v2, and N-ERGY cushioning.
