The München trainer was first introduced in 1976 as a premier indoor training shoe. And indoors is exactly where it has reached cult status – with trainer spotters and terrace casuals making it their top pick for indoor leisure (AKA, down the pub). München’s upper is made of a nylon mesh with a velour trim, and features a perforated toe-box. The velour trim on the lace stay is serrated to match the adidas stripes on the side panel. Production of the München halted in the mid-eighties, making it highly sought after in sneaker circles and the perfect re-issue as it reaches the grand age of 36.
