Minimarket was first started as a clothing store in 2006, founded by the three sisters Sophie, Jennifer and Pernilla. Their own designed garments sold out quickly which led the sisters to develop minimarket from a store to a clothing brand. Minimarket won the year’s newcomer at the Elle Awards in 2008 and the year’s designer price in 2010.
